Sugar Scrub

Times are tough and people are cutting costs everywhere. In economic times like this, we need to be resourceful and make the best of things we have. I believe having a smaller budget forces us to be more creative and green by making new uses for things we have around us everyday…like sugar!

Make a sugar scrub fast and easy with a few simple tools:
- 4 oz. jelly jar
- choice of jojoba, sweet almond, apricot, grape seed oil
- sugar

I’m usually making large quantities for gifts, so this recipe is for making many
Directions:
Each jelly jar gets about 1/3 cup of sugar, then just add the oil. You can add essential oils to the carrier oil before you mix it with the sugar. The consistency will be thick and slushy.

I use Hobacare Jojoba because it has a longer shelf life and is cold pressed.

I do use this product for everything from make-up removal to sugar scrubs.
